Saul Msane Birthplace Visit at Edendale - 25 September 2015

On 25th September 2015, after the Introduction Session of Saul Msane Public lecture, Mr Zwakele Msane, and Mr Thapello Mokoatsi, visited the birthplace of Saul Msane at Edendale, Pietermaritzburg.

The first stop was at Bhengu house, one of Edendales senior residents, and we were assisted by Mr Busani Bhengu, who took us to the one of senoir residence's home Mr Hilter Mbambo, who was born at Edendale 79 years ago. He helped us with some historical information about Edendale, and we promised to form contacts with him for further investigation about Edendale history.

SAUL MSANE LEGACY PROJECT - 2015 INDONDO AWARD WINNER

MSANE TRIBE HERITAGE TRUST was nominated by Umgungundlovu District Municipality and Msunduzi Local Municipality, as the Best Community Legacy Project, at Imperial Protea Hotel, in Pietrmaritzburg, on the 29th August 2015. The event was organized by Rev Caleb Mbokazi of Iheritor's Foundation Church in Christ.
